UYS: Uplift Your Sister™ Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization is to give new opportunities to young women. We want
to open doors for women in order to redirect the path of their lives.

We will help with job placement, basic computer skills and job-seeking techniques
(resume writing, interview tactics, typing skills, etc.). We will also help with financial
planning, budget analysis, money management and retirement goals.

We will offer homes to young women who need them, with hopes of them learning how
to survive on their own. We want to make the shift from unstable life to stable life as
productive as possible. We plan on helping as many young women transition from the
juvenile and foster care systems to self-motivated, independent lives.

We are not limited to just young women; however our greatest focus is on them. We
want to extend our services to all women with needs.

We intend on providing counseling and group therapy for women who need to release
the emotions from the past that prevents them from moving forward.

We provide spiritual and emotional guidance. We teach acceptance of responsibility for
actions that causes destruction and promote changing behaviors that produce negative
consequences.

Our basic plan is that as we uplift one woman, she will in turn uplift another. Together
we can change the world, one woman at a time.
